$310M Hyatt clears planning hurdle, but more delays loom - Kansas City Business Journal

The group developing the $310 million Hyatt Regency convention headquarters hotel cleared a planning hurdle Tuesday, winning unanimous City Plan Commission approval for the downtown project's preliminary plan. But Mike Burke, a principal at KC Hotel Developers LLC, said delays in design had pushed back planned April financial closings.
