Forty-two people were arrested overnight on St. Patrick's Day at a checkpoint in Jackson County, Missouri for driving while intoxicated. The sobriety checkpoint at 33rd Street and Southwest Trafficway was in place from 11 p.m. on Friday until 3:30 a.m. on Saturday. A total of 1,314 vehicles were stopped while the checkpoint was in place.
