AN EPIC CLOWN CONVENTION WARNS THAT THEY'RE SOON TO DESCEND UPON KANSAS CITY!!!
Their message is hopeful and they say this is "A unique chance to gain an insight to the world of clowning . . . The art of clowning is fun, contagious, and intriguing."
However, those of us with coulrophobia fear otherwise . . . Especially after last Summer's clown scare that gripped the nation and proved that people are more scared of clowns than global climate change.

When: April 25 -30, 2017
Where: Hilton Kansas City Airport
Why: Clown education and competitions
The Clowns of America International Convention will draw approximately 300 clowns.
They will be attending classes, performing and competing in the following categories: skits ( single entertainers and group entertainers), costumes, face painting, performing in parades, and balloon twisting. Hosted by Northland Clown Guild Alley 217. Skit and parade competitions are open to the public at no charge.
