It's not quite local but we notice that recent revelations about Kremlin support for Donald Trump have put a chill on right-wing support for the Prez-Elect . . . Fair or not, there's no denying that the threat of another Cold War looms.

Try as he might, from flyover country here in the Heartland . . . There's no way that getting cozy with the Russians is NOT going to go-over well a base of supporters who grew up on anti-Russian propaganda and have always had a good 'ol fashioned general dislike of foreigners of all kinds.
Making this local . . . There are very few Conservatives "alt" or otherwise in this region who will sign on to the new Russian/Trump alliance.
We trust that this international drama will take care of itself but it's something to consider amid tonight's freezing temperatures and a bit of a respite according to Joe Lauria's forecast.
Accordingly, we can only hope you are snuggling up to a hottie like Tiana Gregory or a weekend of Netflix and chill . . .
