Whilst Kansas City residents are busy focusing their protests at Prez Trump or his critics, closer to home the recent Executive Order on immigration puts local politicos in an uncomfortable position of having to reverse longstanding policy.

KANSAS CITY HAS BEEN A SANCTUARY FOR ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS 20+ YEARS AND NOW PREZ TRUMP ORDERS THREATEN TO REVERSE THE TREND!!!
It's not just the Mayor who confronts a dilemma . . .
The question of obedience to Prez Trump also impacts the KCPD Chief . . .
Remember that the Chief is on record as supporting a policy that doesn't quite enforce strict immigration rules . . . No matter what he says, in practice KCPD rarely plays immigration cop.
New York Times and many other global news organizations often feature KCPD tactics noting "a philosophy of policing and community development that generally treats immigrant day laborers, known to be illegal, as a part of the community."
Now . . .
When pressed on this topic, Mayor Sly and the KCPD Chief often back-peddle, equivocate and offer conflicting statements.
However . . .
BOTH LEFT & RIGHT FACTIONS OF OUR KICK-ASS TKC BLOG COMMUNITY DEMAND ANSWERS FROM KANSAS CITY AUTHORITIES ABOUT ENFORCEMENT OF PREZ TRUMP POLICY!!!
We'll patiently wait for a reply (while playing video games) but it's important to understand that statements on this topic will most likely be given to unquestioning and lazy MSM outlets who won't bother to mention that KC's policy and practice over more than a generation has been to welcome and even embrace ILLEGAL immigrants in order to foster a better relationship with diverse communities who will in turn inform authorities about violent criminals. This strategy has been largely effective in reducing violence on Kansas City's Westside and Northeast over the years. Notice how some of the most diverse segments of KCMO are often the starting point for local building booms and ensuing gentrification efforts to capitalize on the vibrant communities created by immigrants both illegal and otherwise.
Still . . .
IMMIGRANT COMMUNITIES MUST KNOW IF KANSAS CITY AUTHORITIES PLAN TO UPHOLD THEIR COMMITMENT OUTREACH OR IF THEY'LL BECOME IMMIGRATION STORM TROOPERS FOR PREZ TRUMP!!!
