Pushing for Number 1
We've seen the Royals make it to the top and we saw a gallant effort by our Chiefs to put to be number one this year. While the KC Public School District can't produce an educated graduate more than half the time, it is perhaps the greatest jobs program on the planet; lifetime employment no matter how incompetent or obsolete an employee may be.
Perhaps that's the goal of sly Mayor when he proposes to raise our taxes over the next 20 years, with a promised doubling them in year two alone.
I thought his $800-million dollar bond it was for needed improvements, but I believe he's an ulterior motive.
He's jealous of the Royals and Chief's rankings, as well as the lofty position of KCPS (best of the worst) and wants to push our City to become #1 in taxes from our current position of #19 in the United States.
Didn't know that we had the 19th highest tax rates in the U.S.? Neither did I until I saw the report (attached) on page 57. With our promised rate increase for the $800-million and the subsequent doubling year two, and bumping of another 50% in year 3 (also promised by the city), we could be at #1 in no time.
Lets all get together and impose a tax increase on ourselves to fund the mayor, the brilliant city employees, and build them new offices, city employee workout facilities and other hidden perks the newest tax promises to bring our ruling elite.
Vote Yes so our emperor can build whatever he wants, whenever he wants, (city hall, streetcar, airport etc.).
Emperor Sly deserves to be number 1.
