Quick statement from the Green Party endorsing their upcoming inauguration protest march . . .
"The Kansas City Heart of America Chapter of the Missouri Green Party endorses the January 20th Trump Inauguration Protest. The Green Party’s endorsement of this action is motivated by our opposition to bigoted and oppressive policies and language which targets immigrants, Muslims, indigenous peoples, women, the LGBTQAI community, the disabled, workers and many others. While Donald Trump has not yet revealed himself to be a full-fledged fascist willing to abandon supposed democratic processes to impose the will of the white ruling class, the quality of his nominees for cabinet and government posts, the language of hate which has inspired increasing bullying on schoolyard and increased hate crimes points to a growing movement. The rise of Trumpism is a dangerous movement that is laying the groundwork for the emergence of a real fascist movement . . ."
