Typical Spring rain has made some Kansas City neighborhood streets impassable this morning.
Drivers should beware of KCMO routes that have become impromptu ponds for the early morning.
Sadly, after six years of Mayor Sly's administration and a litany of tax increases during his tenure . . . THIS TIME AROUND there's talk of infrastructure repair BUT WITH NO GUARANTEES OR PROJECT LIST THAT'S PART OF THE BINDING BALLOT LANGUAGE.
And so . . . This upcoming vote is a trust issue with nearly a BILLION bucks guaranteed only by good faith by people who will be long dead by the time locals have finished paying off the bill.
We've got more math on the topic coming up but for now it's important to take a look at the condition of some local streets this morning and see how City Hall has lived up to their promises so far.
