TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! SILLY SEASON STARTS NOW!!! KANSAS CITY NORTHLAND CELEBRATES 'TRUMP COUNTY' RENAISSANCE AS REPUBLICANS RALLY AGAINST COUNCILMAN DAN FOWLER!!!

The rise of President Trump has emboldened Republicans in Kansas City who have already started thinking about the 2019 election cycle and picking their targets. Councilman Dan Fowler is the FIRST to face a challenge.

One insider says . . .

"Dan Fowler is probably the weakest person on the council, he's a Democrat in a heavily Republican area."

While council election are non-partisan . . . The insider has a point.

Here's a look at Kevin McEnvoy (???) making his pitch to Clay County Republicans and announcing his bid way early  . . .

To be fair, Mr. McEnvoy's claim to fame beyond his eagerness to start bothering his neighbors for the next 2 years is that he's Clay County Collector Lydia McEvoy's husband.

Now, beyond mere community news . . . Let's put this into context in a way that lesser newsies can't . . .

With all respect to Prez Trump, the reality here is that 1st District Council Lady Heather Hall has led the way in showing Northland Conservatives that they can beat Democratic Party Insiders across the bridge.

Worse still . . . The luxury car RINO lawyers (and their wives) who comprise Forward KC won't be able to help much with an in-district race. While Councilman Fowler can draw strength from his insider connections, all in-district contests still come down to neighborhood connections . . . Also in his favor, Councilman Fowler is probably the nicest guy working on the 26th floor and that's not entirely due to the fact that he didn't face a challenger upon entering office.

Nevertheless . . .

As we take a brief respite from talking about dead strippers . . .This is important . . .

INSPIRED BY PREZ TRUMP'S EARLY VICTORY KANSAS CITY NORTHLAND REPUBLICANS THINK THEY CAN TAKE ANOTHER SPOT ON THE CITY COUNCIL!!!

Whilst the antics of this nobody contender might not merit much attention from mainstream media . . . The early contest is a sign that Prez Trump continues to influence our local discourse and Red State politics now threatens to garner greater influence in solidly Democratic Party controlled KCMO.

Developing . . .
