THE KANSAS CITY TUESDAY TALKING POINT: IS 'GET OUT OF MY COUNTRY!!!' THE NEW MANTRA OF PREZ TRUMP SUPPORTERS???

Once again Kansas City is at the forefront of American political discourse as immigration reform promised by Prez Trump takes the blame for the hateful rhetoric which has accompanied recent violent attacks against immigrants by gunmen.

And so we ask our KICK-ASS TKC BLOG COMMUNITY . . .

HAS "GET OUT OF MY COUNTRY!!!" BECOME THE NEW RALLYING CRY OF VIOLENT PREZ TRUMP SUPPORTERS?!?!

Immigration reform is a divisive and complex topic. Even Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill is now flip-flopping on her immigration stance now that her reelection is threatened.

And to be clear . . . The Prez Trump Administration immigration crackdown isn't just focused on illegal aliens but threatens to CUT THE NUMBERS OF LEGAL IMMIGRANTS TO THE U.S. AS WELL.

And while a spirited debate about immigration policy and the overall impact of business is important . . .

The reality is that alleged hate crimes wherein gunmen target brown people and yell at them to "Get Out Of My County!!!" exemplifies the expression of anti-immigrant sentiment that has been ascribed to Prez Trump supporters.

Here's a few examples of the perception that has now become reality . . .

KSHB: Olathe suspect asked victims if status was legal

KCUR: A shooting in Olathe, Kansas that left one Indian man dead and another injured has captured national and international attention. How does violence like this change South Asian immigrants' perceptions of the Midwest and the "American Dream?"

Biz Insider: Man accused of shouting 'get out of my country' before shooting at 2 Indian men in Kansas bar

Vox: There have been 3 violent attacks against Indians in the US in the past 13 days

LA Times: 'Get out of the country': The rhetoric behind shootings targeting Indians in two states

It doesn't matter if it's fair . . . For millions of Americans and even more people across the globe, these alleged hate crimes define the underlying motivation of the current Prez Trump immigration crackdown and there's very little argument or acknowledgement of this problem by more tolerant and reasonable advocates of Prez Trump who have FAILED to argue against popular conceptions.

You decide . . .
