Tragically, nicer weather means more rallies, vigils, marches and protests against rising violence at the homicide count continues to rise . . . 'Stop the Violence' rally held at Swope Park

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A group of KCMO parents who lost their children to street violence held a rally on Friday to bring the community together and honor their children. Organizers of the "Stop the Violence" kickoff event hope to hold events in the future to raise awareness of the impact violence has on metro families.
