Meanwhile here's what Fox4 reported, also screen-capped in case the story changes . . .
Fox4: "That suspect is now in jail and it looks he will be there for a while. THE SUSPECT is in the country illegally and the federal immigration department has placed a hold on him."
Again, both the charge of illegal residence and the rape charge are ALLEGATIONS at this point and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty. What's also interesting about this report is that that probable cause statement also noted the victim was REPORTEDLY so drunk that she couldn't walk without help . . .
"The suspect admitted to having sex with her even though she was highly intoxicated. Witnesses told police she appeared mostly asleep. When the victim woke up and asked what happened, the suspect told her they had sex and she became very angry, accused him of raping her and began to strike him."
While PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS NEVER JUSTIFIES RAPE . . . And that truism is the thesis of the charges in this case . . . It's also worth warning people that bad things often happen to people who are fall down drunk and out on the town . . . Not a justification, just sad reality that we want to share in order to help prevent any other crimes and human suffering despite the rage of social justice warriors who shamefully encourage victimization for fear of recognizing the double standards that shouldn't exist but still do.
