New York Times: Jeff Sessions Recuses Himself From Russia Inquiry
LA Times: His announcement came after a day of mounting calls from fellow Republicans for Sessions to recuse himself from any role in the investigation. Those calls began when news broke that Sessions had failed to disclose contacts during the campaign year with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.
CNN: President Donald Trump said Thursday he has "total" confidence in Attorney General Jeff Sessions following accusations that he misled Congress by failing to disclose pre-election meetings with Russia's ambassador to the United States.
