KANSAS CITY BUYS MORE STREETCARS AMID LOWER RIDERSHIP AND COMPRESSOR BRAKE TROUBLE CONTROVERSY!!!
Despite an overall decline in ridership and the novelty of the streetcar wearing off, Kansas City continues to "invest" in this local transit scheme that's not as cost effective as the bus and has FAILED to spark the economic renaissance that was promised.

Meanwhile, the given recent damage from hobos, constant breakdowns and questions about compressor brake trouble . . . More than a few locals fear that the constant need to keep buying streetcar stems from increased maintenance and the fact that the toy train is a bit of a lemon.
