It would be too easy to throw around "trigger" words and cast aspersions on college fans desperately hoping to relive their glory days . . . Instead, let's just offer this bit of insight that hopes to encourage sports fans to look at the big picture . . .

KANSAS CITY SHOULDN'T CHEER FOR KU BASKETBALL BECAUSE THAT WOULD DISCOURAGE ANY REAL CHANGE IN THE MIDST OF A TROUBLED SEASON FILLED WITH NASTY RUN-INS WITH THE LAW!!!

The hoop dreams coming to our hometown aren't as important as the very real possibility that sports glory overshadows some a troubled program that is far too permissive with star players.
