Fact check on that claim . . . TKC drove by at least three times to gawk and was honking all the way . . . And I didn't get pulled over. To be fair, that's usually how I roll past 12th & Oak so maybe the police were just used to it.

PAIS Legal fund. On February 16 there were 3 people arrested by KCPD at 11th and locust by Kansas City City Hall. One person who is a minor, and one who was driving by the protest honking, and the third, who was unjustly charged with assault, were attending the Day Without Immigrant rally held in front of city hall. We're looking at up to $1500 in bail and legal fee costs. Please help us with bond fees, as well as Andres's and Jonathan's legal fees.
All three are free! Many thanks to all for your help but unfortunately it does not end here.
Jonathan, a DREAMer with DACA, was wrongly accused of assault. His family will need help with the legal fees to pay for their lawyer and court feed. All your help will be eternally grateful!

As usual, with any political slap fight there are allegations far and wide . . . From the scene, TKC witnessed a great many families taking the day off work to protest and then younger, more aggressive and louder protesters joining the gathering and yelling at cops. Like it or not, its now up to the courts to figure all of this out.
