UPDATE: We are happy to say that we have confirmed that representatives from the offices of Sen. Claire McCaskill, Rep. Emanuel Cleaver II, and Mayor Sly James will join us tomorrow. They will be prepared to listen to testimony and share a statement from each elected official.
Missouri Jobs with Justice, along with the Heartland Alliance for Progress and Indivisible KC, will host a public town hall meeting to demand our elected officials protect the Affordable Care Act. We have invited Senator Roy Blunt, Senator Claire McCaskill, Congressman Emanuel Cleaver, and Mayor Sly James to attend and hear testimony by those who will be negatively affected if the ACA is repealed.
The town hall will be Saturday, Feb. 25th, 1pm - 2:30pm at the Teamsters' Union Hall (4501 Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd, KCMO, 64130. Please plan to arrive early, as space is limited . . .
