KANSAS CITY HOMICIDE #18: VICTIM DISCOVERED SHOT DEAD AFTER NIGHT OF GUNFIRE CHAOS ON LOCAL STREETS!!!

Thankfully, the local level of killing isn't keeping up with so many reports of gunfire on social media . . . Which is actually a better public resource for shooting reports than any news outlet.

A recap . . .

- A spate of weekend gunfire near Martini Corner still sparks fear online.

- Last night a gunfire, the police chopper and quite a few sirens echoed through Midtown.

- This isn't a good sign of improvement around the Cerner campus: One person shot in leg near 82nd and Bannister

And of course, the latest addition to the rising Kansas City murder count that keeps us up to date with the spike in killing from last year.
