TKC TOLD YOU SO!!! KANSAS CITY STAR CAUGHT PUBLISHING CONSULTANT FAKE NEWS ABOUT PRESIDENT TRUMP BUILDING NEW SINGLE-TERMINAL AIRPORT!!!
Yesterday our blog community was FIRST to dispute the Kansas City Star "news" about a new airport via Prez Trump.
And now . . .
THE KANSAS CITY NEWSPAPER WAS FORCED TO ADMIT THAT THEIR FAKE NEWS WAS COMPLETELY DISAVOWED BY PREZ TRUMP INSIDERS!!!
Citizens For Responsible Government Kansas City called up Congressman Graves and earned this tidbit:
Rep. Graves: "I can confirm a little bit more about the authenticity of this list. This list is a working draft for the Trump administration. Right now no plans or projects are finalized or authorized, but we'll continue to stay involved in infrastructure decisions and ensure the federal projects undertaken in the KC area are those which local people support and from which local communities benefit.”
More to the point . . .
INTERNETS JUGGERNAUT POLITIO MYTH-BUSTED THE KANSAS CITY STAR CLAIM!!!
Checkit:
INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT LIST NOT FROM TRANSITION: A former member of the Trump transition’s landing team for DOT said a list of infrastructure projects supposedly tied to the new administration is actually fake. “We saw it and confirmed it did not come from the transition team,” Brigham McCown, the chairman of the Alliance for Innovation and Infrastructure, told our Lauren Gardner. McClatchy reported that the list shows the projects that the Trump administration would possibly want to prioritize as a part of an infrastructure plan. But some of the projects listed aren’t requesting funding from the federal government. “Some of these projects have been completed, some are in development, some are good candidates, and others would not be the types of projects we would have recommended,” McCown said.
Sadly, the newspaper was forced to admit as much just a couple of seconds ago . . .
Kansas City Star: A draft list of 50 major infrastructure projects compiled and shared by President Donald Trump’s transition team was put together by a Washington-based consulting firm, McClatchy has learned.
And so . . .
We can talk about credibility and journalism all night but the fact remains that THE KANSAS CITY STAR WAS WRONG in imagining that Prez Trump wants to build a new airport for Mayor Sly and our blog community said so FIRST.
You decide . . .
