TKC MUST READ!!! EXEC FRANK WHITE CONFRONTS CRITICISM OVER MISHANDLING JACKSON COUNTY JAIL CRISIS!!!

The first of many settlements to come was recently awarded this week but a woman who died in custody just last week reveals that hard times for this embattled institution continue.

INSIDERS RAGE AGAINST THE ADMINISTRATION OF JACKSON COUNTY EXEC FRANK WHITE FOR WORKING AGAINST AN INDEPENDENT AUDIT OF THE JAIL CRISIS!!!



Here's the word that offers important insight into behind the scenes legislative moves and the dearth of reporting on the antics at the courthouse . . .

An attempted "White" wash of misconduct at the jail:

In an act of what can only be described as utter panic, Frank White is going "all in" on his most recent attempt to duck any accountability over the recent rapes, assaults and deaths at the Jackson County Jail. Late last year the County legislature voted, smartly, to approve an independent audit of the jail given the crises. Since that time, Frank White's Administration has worked overtime to kill the outside audit, terrified that it may uncover the truth of the horrors that have actually been going on under his watch, and that he and his "team" have been actively covering up and hiding the truth from the public. Don't kid yourself, the recent budget "fight" was not about "policy", it was about raw hardcore gutter politics with the current administration using the enormous power of the executive's office, and the threat of withholding money in the budget, to try to bully the legislature into backing down from asking the tough but so important questions with an outside and transparent audit.

This afternoon Frank's consigliere, began pushing for a 4th (yes a 4th) audit that will be completely controlled by the administration (For more analysis, please see the story about Mr. Fox guarding a hen house). This audit will have the goal of "White" washing the dirty truth for Frank so that, in their minds, the legislature's more truthful and independent audit can be discredited with administration talking points and deflections that they are certain the lazy STAR reporters will simply just print without any critical thought or analysis (please see the lack of STAR coverage over the recent deaths and rapes - Is there a paper anymore?).

Frank is showing himself to be the worst type of politician who gives other politicians a very bad name.....
