TKC ICE STORM APOCALYPSE WEEKLY POWER RANKINGS: WHO IS THE STRONGEST WEATHER NEWSIE IN KANSAS CITY???

Tonight we invite our blog community to think critically about weather coverage and even stir up a bit of a firestorm with a a bit of real talk regarding meteorological journalism.

Photo credit and inspiration belong to hottie Candice Swanepol who reminds us to try and find the bright side even among the nation's Winter of discontent.

To wit . . .

YOU DECIDE: WHO IS THE STRONGEST OF ALL KANSAS CITY WEATHER NEWSIES!!!

We like them all and want to take this opportunity to say something nice about each one . . . Choose your fave . . .

Gary Lezak

He has fought valiantly against cancer and even served as a champion for wayward pets . . . Also, we're pretty sure that he's just straight up physically stronger than just about any other newsie in town.

Gary Amble & Chris Suchan

Last year we talked a bit about a reshuffling @ KCTV5 but but these meteorologists make a good team and provide a lot of important information for the metro.

Bryan Busby

The old-school gold standard of Kansas City weather . . . Constantly emphasizing SCIENCE and never one to panic . . . He also does a great deal of good works with students and charities. Busby has been one of Kansas City's best for quite some time.

Erin Little

She's out of the news game but offers a valuable life lesson to all news hotties about a better family life and public service by way of working with schools in her new gig. She's one of KC's faves and will certainly be missed.

Joel Nichols

Special place in our heart for this news weather funny man, host and one of the best interviewers in all of Kansas City . . . Nichols at Night is the most underrated show in town and MUST SEE TV for (MOST) people with no Sat. night social life.

And so . . .

As always, this list has been compiled according to scientific TKC polling and market research data and it's a weekly comprehensive guide to local powerful people.

We listed the faves of our blog community . . . Choose the best or suggest your own . . .  And contemplate Kansas City weather news delivery before the coming ice storm Apocalypse.

Stay Frosty!!!
