Kansas City voters love their dogs.
Let's not waste time debating this fact of life pretty much defines the term: pet cause.
To wit . . .

Here's a peek at the questions that confront KCMO voters in April . . .
Remember that our blog community was FIRST to warn of the GO BOND effort broken apart . . . And the aftermath of this strategy is that doggie lovers dominate and skew all polling data.
Just a few more facts we gleaned because less expensive polling data doesn't stay secret for very long . . .
- Frequent voters favor a new animal shelter by a margin of more than 70%
- 9 out of 10 white females over the age of 40 support the new Kansas City animal shelter
- Dude doggy style: Male frequent voters across demographic lines support by a margin of 3/5.
And so . . .
And all of this is to day that doggies will rule the April vote and tax fighters have their work cut out for them IF they plan to oppose all three questions instead of just taking an L on the doggie shelter and focusing on Questions 1 & 2 that have earned continual voter approval over the years but never seem to get any better.
