THE TKC NEW YEAR'S QUESTION 2017: HOW CAN WE BETTER SERVE OUR KICK-ASS KANSAS CITY BLOG COMMUNITY?!?!

Only the hardcore readers, fans and a lonely Internets lurkers check in with us on Sunday night.

So we wanted to do just a bit of housekeeping before we take our weekly pause, grab a slice of pizza and restart our winning AGAIN on the first work day of 2017 tomorrow.

To wit . . .

FEEL FREE TO SHARE SUGGESTIONS FOR HOW WE CAN IMPROVE OUR KICK-ASS TKC BLOG COMMUNITY IN THE NEW YEAR!!!

Like everything else on the blog, take it all with a grain of salt and have fun because our blog community has DOMINATED the local discourse by way of ignoring conventional wisdom and not so friendly advice while lesser pundits pester and beg their social media friends for money or publish when they're not washing their latest girlfriend's panties. Here @ TKC - No underwears are getting washed!!!

But we're always intrigued by helpful advice . . .

Here's the direction we're heading . . .

- We want to engage more with readers. Scripts and help from India have kept up the constant fight against SPAM but taking more time to joke the news or respond to an insightful comment is a goal. And while our online party doesn't depend on it . . . It never hurts to mingle from time to time.

- A TKC redesign??? Not so fast. This blog WORKS and we're hesitant to screw around with a winning formula there are always a few tweaks that could improve the flow. This isn't a priority but something that might or might not be deck for later in the year.

- We're gonna TRY to answer those messages more quickly. Right now no less than two dozen tidbits, insights, news items and suggestions await . . . We do our best to prioritize and we appreciate the patience of our blog community but we can always do better.

Similarly . . .

Notice that the spate of Kansas City deadly gun violence didn't stop on New Year's Eve and continued into the daylight hours.

And so, while City Hall and local public officials aren't changing anything at all . . .

Here @ TKC we want to take a cue from so many goodly white women that we've known and keep our expectations low in order to undertake slow but steady achievement, progress or simply pass the time without too much stress.
