In today's tourism news . . . Here's another nasty press statement from Water Services that demands A bit of push back:
KC Water Services: KC Water Customers Might Notice Slightly Discolored Water
An excess of a standard treatment chemical was added to the KC raw water treatment system overnight, causing tap water to have a pink color. The pinkish hue will dissipate over the next 3-5 days as it works its way through the distribution system.
Kansas City’s drinking water continues to meet all primary drinking water standards and remains safe to drink.
