TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! RENOWNED JACKSON COUNTY 'MYARTS' PROGRAM CONFRONTS FUNDING CUTS AND COURTHOUSE POLITICAL BLAME GAME!!!



After a litany of tax increasing following the most recent election, a beloved arts program is at the center of a funding fight.

Accordingly . . .

JACKSON COUNTY INSIDERS REVEAL FUNDING CUT FRUSTRATIONS FROM ADVOCATES OF THE MYARTS PROGRAM AND LITTLE SUPPORT FROM ELECTED LEADERS!!!

For those who don't know . . . MyArts is is part of the Jackson County Prosecutor's Arts Initiative through the Anti-Drug Unit of Jackson County. The project has earned praise from throughout the metro and is one of the rare programs that actually has a wide-base of participation from local youth as well.

Accordingly . . .

UPCOMING FUNDING FRUSTRATION STEMS FROM JACKSON COUNTY POLITICAL JOCKEYING BETWIXT THE EXEC'S OFFICE, THE LEGISLATURE AND THE PROSECUTOR!!!

Federal funding is running out and in the rush to find more money to keep this successful program alive . . . None of these three Jackson County interests are willing to step up and take the budget hit . . . Which would require a significant allotment.

For now, behind the scenes our KICK-ASS BLOG COMMUNITY hopes that this post and more pressure on courthouse leaders will help the County get their priorities straight as political power player negotiating has proven ineffective at sustaining something as simple as an after-school painting and crafts program.
