Jackson County Prosecutor's Office: Two KC teens charged in Dec. 8 double homicide in Kansas City
Two Kansas City teenagers, ages 17 and 18, have been charged in the fatal shootings on Dec. 8 on Kansas City's east side that claimed the lives of Jonathan Echols and Freddie Jones, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
Kansas City police, responding to the 3900 block of Chestnut, on Dec. 8 found the bodies of Echols and Jones, both shot fatally multiple times. Witnesses said the defendants had gone there to rob the victims, who let them into the residence.
Prosecutors requested bonds of $300,000 & $500,000 . . .
