KANSAS CITY HOMICIDE COUNT NOW 120 AFTER DOUBLE MURDER AND FRIDAY AFTERNOON TROOST DEADLY SHOOTING!!!

Amid the holiday season and as end of the year approaches, the Kansas City homicide count is now reaching record highs.

Accordingly . . .

THREE MURDERS IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS SPIKES THE KANSAS CITY HOMICIDE COUNT TO 120!!! THAT'S THE HIGHEST MURDER TOTAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR IN A GENERATION!!!

Police confirmed that the two deaths last night counted as a double murder.

Friday at an apartment complex in the 8100 block of Troost Avenue a person was shot and killed as the police apprehended a suspect they now have in custody.

And so . . .

A slight warmup this weekend could prove disastrous for Kansas City as our murder count continues to surge.

The rundown . . .

- This is now more than a 20% increase over homicides last year at this time.

- There were only 99 murders last year at this point.

- The KCPD Clearance rate hovers slightly above 50% as a significant number of killings this year were due to arguments raging out of control.

Sadly, while politicos and public officials boasted about a reduction of homicide numbers a couple of years ago . . . This time around there are few politicos willing to go on record about the topic as holiday and sports celebration has earned more comment than one of the deadliest years in recent KCMO history.

Developing . . .
