Kansas City Public Television is soon to launch a 24-hour channel focused on educational and entertainment options for kids.
Here's an interview and more deets about the broadcast effort starting in January of 2017:
This is important for a lot of reasons and for parents who can't afford a tablet for rugrats to play with and are still forced plop their spawn in front of the TV in lieu of a baby sitter . . . The new channel offers a better option than commercial programming which which bombards viewers with advertisements for plastic junk and high-fructose corn syrup snacks. On the downside, Sesame Street is obviously liberal propaganda . . .
Exception to the rule: Oscar The Grouch, obviously, voted for Trump.
