Creative Class Kansas City Arts Survey
Any bit of local artsy consideration without our critical blog community taking part would be incomplete . . . Accordingly, here's a glimpse of the latest effort to collect artsy data in order to garner support for a development agenda that completely ignores neighborhoods.
The City of Kansas City, MO and the Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City, MO are working with Artspace Projects, a national, nonprofit organization, to conduct a study of the space needs of artists of all disciplines and arts and cultural organizations and creative and arts-friendly businesses in KCMO and the surrounding region. This is the second big step in a feasibility process which began with a visit by Artspace in May 2015 . . . We value your opinions. Your input is critical and will ensure that any new space developed meets the needs of the creative community, including type, number and size of spaces, design features, affordability, and amenities.
You can take the survey at kcartsurvey.org
