CONSERVATIVE AUTHOR JACK CASHILL LEADS KANSAS SENTINAL NEWS SERVICE TARGETING MEDIA BIAS!!! WILL IT WORK???

One of the most prolific authors in Kansas City is now helping to launch a political effort to convince people that the Sunflower State isn't such a horrible place.

Take a look:

"Dave Trabert, president of Kansas Policy Institute, announced the new organization called the Sentinel in a video posted on the institute’s website, starting with a barrage of attacks against traditional media outlets, alleging they withhold information about state government and the economy in order to sway public opinion."

The problem with all of these websites is that they're so boring that they seldom spark any response or notice from the public . . . Recruiting Mr. Cashill to liven things up is a good move if only because his so-called conspiracy theories have often evoked the ire of mainstream newsies and that has generated quite a bit of conversation.

In fairness, it's a Koch brothers site and it's not like they have to do much convincing in order to get their way in terms of policy victory . . . Other than keep writing those big checks.

Still . . . Notice that this persuasive effort is focused on influencing the online conversation i.e. they're not starting a newspaper . . . And so the we look forward to tales of the good life in Kansas and wonder if that kind of reporting will resonate with most online denizens looking for cute cat photos.

You decide . . .
