One of you d-bags noted this in the comments about a week ago and I thought it was an April Fool's joke . . . Turns out it's for realz.
The Star raised their prices again and now charges two bucks for daily editions.
Normally, TKC avoids dispensers because they also substitute as hobos toilets in most parts of Midtown but this one was newly cleaned . . . I guess trying they're really trying sell the premium dead tree merch.
Is this a good value for a regularly published historical document??? Either way, none of the retired newsies who blog when they get bored with greeting customers at Walmart have bothered to discuss this aspect of Dead Tree Media doom, so it's worth a look. You decide . . .
