KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One person is in life-threatening condition after a stabbing Sunday evening. It happened just before 7 p.m. near the area of 34 and Paseo. Police say they do have a suspect in custody. The incident is still under investigation.

Vehicle crashes through window of Overland Park Pier 1 Imports
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Just before 1 p.m. Saturday a vehicle crashed into the Pier 1 Imports near West 105 Street and Metcalf. The cause of the crash is still under investigation. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was completely in the store after the crash.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City police released the above image on Saturday of a person they say they'd like to talk to about a recent aggravated assault. The reported incident occurred near East 24th Street and Myrtle on March 29. Police did not release any other details.

Man in custody after allegedly exchanging gunfire with Olathe police officer
An Olathe man and an officer exchanged gunfire after police responded to a reports of an armed disturbance about 3 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Pasadena Drive. The man was taken into custody while police continue their investigation.

This past Tuesday, voters in Kansas City went to the polls and a marijuana decriminalization measure with 74% of the vote. Previously, possession of up to 35 grams in the city was punishable by up to 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
