KANSAS CITY, Missouri -The City Planning Commission has released an updated rendering of the new development slated for the vacant lot at Independence and Prospect Avenues. The initial renderings were met with opposition from some neighborhood residents, who noted a lack of historic character and no area for the fallen firefighters who died on the site on October 12, 2015.
